The past three years have seen the lowest levels of used sailboat inventory offered by Yacht Brokers in Ontario. The industry is still working its way out of the trough. Slowly. Very Slowly. If you have been looking for a used sailboat in Ontario, or even throughout the Great Lakes Region, you've noticed that the selection is very limited. Used yacht inventory in Ontario has rebounded from the historic lows of spring 2022, yet is still currently under 50% of pre pandemic levels.
Sadly, more and more of our used yachts are being picked up by US Buyers. It's not a bad thing to have more competition for used boats, but when they move out of the country, it does make it more difficult to get them back. But it can be done, and we do it regularly for our Canadian boat buyers.
We have decades of experience selling used yachts from all of the big builders including Catalina Yachts, Hunter Yachts, Tartan, Island Packet, C&C, Dufour, Beneteau, Jeanneau, CS, and many more. We are not a new yacht dealer, which we believe benefits our clients, several of our yacht brokers in Ontario have extensive experience with new yacht sales, giving you a broad knowledge base to draw on.

The last three years have seen interesting trends in the availability of used powerboats throughout Ontario. The increased demand that began three years ago resulted in a quickly reduced supply, taking used powerboat inventory in Ontario to record lows in the spring of 2021. Since then, the inventory has slowly crept back to where it sits now, within about 10% of pre pandemic levels.
